Michelle Alford has been working in the publishing business for eight years. She started her career editing novels for authors looking to polish their books before submitting them for publication. She’s since worked for numerous publishing companies, including Da Capo Press, MIT Press, Harvard Common Press, and Small Planet Communications. Currently she works as the content and social media manager for Body1, Inc.
In addition to writing and editing, Michelle has created and participated in podcasts, vlogs, advertisements, and educational videos. Michelle’s goal is to create engaging content in a variety of mediums and to share that content with a targeted audience.
Michelle received her master’s degree in Publishing and Writing from Emerson College. She’s published two short stories in small literary magazines and has recently completed her first novel.
